"We explore art that is not just aesthetically pleasing but functional and eco-conscious. Seeking alternative material choices in many of our projects is important to us. We are particularly drawn to the simplistic, sculptural lines and varied shapes of surfboards. Taking discarded surfboards that would otherwise end up in landfills and giving them a second life as a canvas for our functional art and sculptures, we feel, pays respect to their original creators and our planet.
